Vijai Sardesai seeks immediate release of pending salaries of Diocesan staff

The salaries are pending despite CM Sawant’s Assembly assurance that payments would be cleared within two days

GFP Chief Vijai Sardesai has written to the Chief Secretary seeking the immediate release of pending salaries of 458 teaching and non-teaching employees of the Diocesan Society. This comes despite Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant's assurance in the Assembly that the salaries would be cleared within two days, with the employees still awaiting payment.
