Rajendra Arlekar named Tamil Nadu governor; OP Mathur gets Kerala

The new postings are part of a six-state reshuffle

President Droupadi Murmu appointed Rajendra Arlekar as the full-time governor of Tamil Nadu and transferred OP Mathur from Sikkim to Kerala. Arlekar earlier served as the Kerala governor while holding additional charge of Tamil Nadu.

The appointments are part of a reshuffle involving six states.
