Proposed bank employees’ strike deferred

The proposed bank union agitation and strike have been deferred following talks between IBA and UFBU

Following a meeting between the Indian Banks' Association (IBA) and the United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU) on the night of September 27, the proposed agitation and strike by bank unions have been deferred for now.

A high-level committee will be formed to discuss the demand for declaring the remaining Saturdays as holidays, while other pending issues will also be taken up for an early resolution.
