Porvorim residents seek fee waiver for home regularisation

Porvorim’s 20-Point residents seek waiver of 'sanad' fees and RUCA Act penalties to ease the cost of home regularisation

Residents of 20-Point Porvorim, along with Tourism Minister and Porvorim MLA Rohan Khaunte and Socorro Panchayat representatives, met Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant.

They requested a waiver of sanad fees under the Mhaje Ghar Yojana scheme, and exemption from penalties for regularising structures under the RUCA Act. The move aims to reduce the financial burden on residents during the regularisation of their homes.
