Porvorim flyover crucial for Goa’s connectivity, completed on time: Gadkari

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari said the Porvorim flyover was a crucial and challenging project for Goa's connectivity and was completed on time despite difficulties during piling work and losses faced by contractors. He congratulated the contractor and project team. 

Gadkari said Atal Setu was initiated by the Goa government, with the late Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar securing Central funding. He also said the Zuari Bridge viewing gallery will become a major tourist attraction with landmark significance similar to the Eiffel Tower.
