Light it with what, CM?: Kawthankar questions ‘Aashirwad ka Diya’ appeal

GPCC Working President Sunil Kawthankar has demanded real economic relief for Goans over symbolic gestures

Working President of GPCC Sunil Kawthankar questioned Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant's appeal to Goans to light an ‘Aashirwad Ka Diya’ for Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

In a social media post, Kawthankar raised concerns over the cost of food, fuel and electricity and referred to the BJP's 2021 promise of 15 free LPG cylinders. He said people need relief from the cost of living rather than another symbolic gesture.
