Libia joins Goy Rakhonn Yatra, calls for protection of Goa

Centenarian freedom fighter Libia Lobo Sardesai warned that the state has changed for the worse and urged citizens to safeguard their homeland

Centenarian freedom fighter Libia Lobo Sardesai joined the second day of the Goa Congress Gõy Rakhonn Yatra on September 23.

Reflecting on the changes in Goa, she implied that the state had changed for the worse and that several things she never imagined have happened. Through her remarks, she stressed the need to protect Goa, drawing an analogy that if one does not guard their home, robbers will enter, and said people have a responsibility to safeguard the state.
