  • A delegation of Chimbelkars met Chief Minister Pramod Sawant to voice strong opposition to the proposed Unity Mall. He said the Prashasan Stambha could be scrapped, but not the Unity Mall, as ₹24 crore had already been spent on it.

  • Ponda police traced a 14-year-old boy who went missing after travelling by bicycle to Kolhapur two days ago. The minor was found safe, and formalities are underway to reunite him with his family.
