CM directs compensation for farmers hit by crop damage

Eligible farmers will receive compensation under the Shetkar Nidhi Adhar Yojana

Following the CM's direction, the Agriculture Department has conducted a survey of farms affected due to low rainfall this year. As per the preliminary report, around 20 hectares of farmland have been affected so far.

Agriculture Director Chandrahas said as directed by CM, eligible farmers be covered under the Shetkar Nidhi Adhar Yojana and provided compensation. First priority will be given to farmers holding a Krishi Card, he added.
