Centre approves permanent IIT Goa campus at Farmagudi

The Centre has directed the state to transfer land at the earliest

The Union Government on Thursday approved the Goa Government's proposal to establish the permanent campus of IIT Goa at Farmagudi. The Union Ministry of Education has directed the State Government to transfer the land to IIT Goa at the earliest to facilitate the development of the institute's permanent campus.
