Activists summoned over Section 39A Protest; Adv Amit Palekar calls it “harassment”

Adv Amit Palekar has alleged that the police action of summoning activists for questioning over the Section 39A protest amounts to “pure harassment.”

He questioned why only activists were being called for inquiry while political leaders associated with the issue were not summoned.

Palekar described the move as completely unjustified and selective, claiming that it appears to target civil society members rather than those in positions of power.
